Etiquette Noire Lancome

An early travel set by Lancome contains two familiar fragrances: Magie (the most favorite scent of Armand Petitjean) and Lavandes (this one was started during WW II because lavender was the only perfume ingredient available), as well as the one new to me - Etiquette Noire.

Etiquette Noire was available as cologne only. It is a fresh, citrucy and ginger-like verbena scent with a light vanilla undertone. Crisp and elegant, but a bit disappointing for those who chose the new Eau de Cologne from the Chanel L'Exclusifs or Cologne Blanche by Dior.

Like Cachet Bleue it is an old-fashioned all-natural scent. 

Taking one more sniff of Lavandes I have to mention that this later version of lavender water is enriched by aldehydes.

Etiquette Noire выпускался только в виде одеколона. Это свежий, цитрусовый с имбирным оттенком запах вербены с легким ванильным тоном. Элегантный, звонкий, он может слегка разочаровать тех, кто выбирает Eau de Cologne из новой коллекции Chanel или Cologne Blanche от Dior.

Как и Cachet Bleue, это старомодный и натуральный аромат.

Снова понюхав Lavandes, я должен отметить, что к этой более поздней версии добавлены альдегиды.
